This song was inspired by watching the movie "Legend" (about the Kray brothers) with my wife. In the lyrics, I loosely take the analogy of how black holes may have played a critical role in shaping the "landscape" of our universe and how the Kray's shaped the social, political and economic landscape of London in the 1950s and 60s.
lyrics
Violence rocks the human soul
Violence plays a role in all
Space and time intertwined
crunched and warped vastness combined
Reasons one can't seem to find
Violence fascinates us all
Violent acts spark fear and awe
But you see, all we see
Filtered through our lens to be
Clarity beyond our reach
Emptiness, energy,
Violence through our lens we see
Violence isn't clarity
